Inside you'll find 3 bedrooms (if you can't find them, call me): The Bears Room has 2 single beds and distant sea views.
The ground floor Floral Room offers two singles and a large cot, while the Master Bedroom has a doule bed and a travel cot. Every room has central heating.
We don't normally accept animals**. Even non-smokers. We have a restrictive smoking policy: Smoking is only allowed in the conservatory, where I smoke when she doesn't see me. It's worse for your health to smoke elsewhere, especially if I catch you.
Dishwasher, washer/dryer, Freeview, video, DVD, Playstation, cot and high chair, golf clubs set, maritime books and paintings which could remind you of your grandfather --The Ugly Pirate --, payphone, freephone to our housekeeper, Mrs. Jacky Peck. She's on 01843 862 880 and her mobile is 07980 522 459.
On the outside you'll find the garden ( hint: try the back of the house) with BBQ area, apple, pear and cherry trees.
(Guess which one is which and win an apple. Subject to availability. See local branches.)
Off street parking provided on cottage driveway. No parking meter installed. (Anyone got one for sale?)
Jacky will be expecting you at 1PM on your day of arrival and offer you a bottle of wine. Have her breathalised if she doesn't.
Call her a couple of days in advance to give her your estimated time of arrival.

GOOD: Guarantee
Your guarantee cheque will be returned to you after inspection of the premises. This guarantee is only a deposit for possible damages and extra cleaning and all extra costs not covered by the £100 (or sometimes £200) will be due as well. Happily enough this is most exceptional. However, after mutual agreement, the guarantee can be used to settle energy or other bills, if applicable, for returning guests.
BAD: CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE
Once you have booked your holiday your deposit is non-refundable. If for any reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not received the balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. May we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
WORSE: NON-AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMODATION
If we would have to cancel your holiday in case our cottage became unavailable for reasons beyond our control (damages / major technical problems that would ruin a holiday or endanger the guests), we would attempt to offer you alternative accomodation, if possible and acceptable to you. Otherwise we would refund all monies paid to us for your holiday. Our liability will not extend beyond this refund.
WORST: Sudden death
In case the owners pass away (OMG, that's me!!) all bookings will be honoured by their heirs.
